KenDoll's Joy Stick

Here we have KenDoll Demo videos Part 4 and 5 (see posts below for previous parts), during which I show you KenDoll's curious mixture of old-school and high-tech, while taking you shopping in the KenDoll Store.

So, tomorrow I'll have one more video for you, then I'll be done with it, and all your burning queries will be answered.

"KenDoll's Joy Stick is old school" < -- that's what she said.

Please read my comment like a KenDoll would:

I like your Kendoll. I would like to buy one. What's up with the joystick?

I'm glad you demo'd how not to accidentally buy a book.
What did you think about Nation (the first chapter)?

Ken Doll's joystick is soooooo little! Better than the original Ken Doll's bulge I guess.

I'm not buying one until they come up with some touch screen action. Or it gets really cheap.

So, let me get this straight: You pay a bunch of money for the KenDoll and then you have to pay for all the books you want? Does it have wireless internet or something? How are you able to purchase books without hooking it up to your computer. Ok, I'm dumb.

Buying books on it is apparently too easy.
The joy stick business is funky tho isn't it? I guess we're spoiled in this high tech world.
Still a pretty cool product.

Em--yes, it's just a device to buy and read books digitally. There are added benefits to having one, but that's basically what it is. Think of it like an iPod, but for books instead of music. It's not for everyone, and I don't recommend that everyone get one yet, especially if you are not an avid reader. They are too expensive right now. Once the price comes down, I think even casual readers will love it.

And yes, it's always connected to the internet thru the 3G Whispernet, like an iPhone is, so there is no syncing involved, no hooking up to a computer, it's self contained. You can buy a book from the device right before you hop on an airplane or something. You can also surf the web on it, but it's not really practical bc of the paperlikeness of the screen. NO monthly fees for the internet, that part is free.

No, you are not dumb. All valid Qs.

That was a close one, you know, when you accidentally bought Breaking Dawn. To be honest, I was kind of hoping you did, thus rendering your hard cover copy useless, and available to someone like me...that doesn't have a copy of her own.

That joystick brings me no joy...more like an irritatingstick.

I'm pretty much old-school when it comes to tech stuff, so me and that joy stick would get along just peachy!

^^that's what she said.

I'm sorry I can't stop
