Bye, bye front teeth
Erin just emailed me these pictures of France. She got in a fight with the pavement. The pavement knocked out her two front permanent teeth, but she left a nasty blood stain on the pavement, so...

Why won't she smile so we can see the missing teeth? Is she upset or something? I clearly remember the day I knocked out my teeth, it was a very depressing day for me. Poor Francy.
She looks defeated. I bet the pavement said some nasty things to her.

That looks so bad! I specifically asked about her permanent teeth while I was on vacation...do you think I had anything to do with it?
I am really glad that Hazel has a few more years of baby teeth to knock out. I think by the time the real ones come in, she will be more stable.

Oh no!! That is one of the saddest things I've ever seen.
I just saw Frances in the flesh, and she had the same miserable expression on her face as she had when those pictures were taken last night. I couldn't really get her to talk, either. Super sad.
And it was a bike accident, a la HotPants. She was racing, flipped over her handlebars, and ate pavement, in that order.
That's just about the saddest face I ever saw.

Poor poor Frances. She crashed and got smashed. I feel so bad for her.
You know that picture of the little orphan girl in the tattered dress on the Les Miserable poster?... not as sad as that second picture of Frances.
