Family Christmas Cards...

So, last night, I started to half-heartily prepare my family Christmas cards. Yeah, half-heartily. My whole heart isn't in it you gize. Should I skip it this year? I don't even have a family picture to put in it that you gize don't already see five times a day on my blog. Yeah, five times. What if I just send cards to non-bloggers who haven't already seen these pictures five times a day? Is that rude? Lemme know.

I look at it even more, cuz I have it framed on my bookcase. Granted the bookcase is right next to the tv, but even if it wasn't, I would walk over to where ever the picture was just to look at it.
I have no heart, so of course I have to Christmas card, so of course I can't complain about not getting one from you. So you are off the hook with me this year!

I vote to still get a family Christmas card from you. But honestly, I'd probably not do it either if I were you at this point.

Um, not that I am on your list, but I personally like to get photos from my friends and family so we can hang it on our wall of fame/shame over our table. My kids can then look at it and we talk about friends we are going to visit so when I say "remember so and so?" they can act like they have heard of the person instead of looking someone square in the face and saying "no I have no idea who this person is." I would probably not think to blog-hop and print something up. So yeah, I say go for it. Also, I was at the post office mailing my Christmas cards and a lady said "oh how cute, one of the few people left who actually send out cards these days" and though I think she was insulting me, it made me feel good to be one of the traditionalists.

PS What the heck is up with the green marker?

We haven't done anything about ours yet, either, for the second year in a row. I'm sure some of my friends think we died or something. We are loving all the cards we got from all the "kids", however.

But, I think I would send them to non-bloggers first, and then if you have leftovers you can send some to us old folks who just like to have your lovely faces on our fridges... :0)

This one's tough because it's getting soo close to Christmas that's the last thing I'd wanna be doing. Then again some people have "rules" about their future card list (::clearing throat:: Landee).

I'd just bag it.

Advice from your mommy....

If it makes you happy to do it...DO IT.

If it stresses you out to do it...DON"T DO IT!

When I was called to be RS pres. for the second time, I made the command decision to skip Christmas cards. I do miss getting the cards from friends, but I love not having that added stress during the holidays.

I second the "just bag it" idea.

Im good you can count me out of the list of people to send it too. That should help make it easier since yer list is now smaller

Holy smokes, this blog is hot! I can't keep up with you. I agree with mom, only do it if you wanna do it.

She has a two year grace period Memz so this year she'll be fine but next year ::doing that cut the throat ripping noise & action::

I already hand-made and mailed out 40 blogger Christmas cards, that's probably why I'm burnt out on the whole thing. Let's be honest, if you got one of those, the family card would be bonus points.

Q--what green maker?

I'm thinking nothing can beat the Christmas Car I already got from you and friends, so do what you like, and like what you do, K?

I didn't mention that the few years we actually get cards out, they go out in January. I don't need another thing to do in December. :0)

Send them for Valentine's day. :0)
