I thought we were all on the same team...

...but tonight, I was disappointed to learn that this is not the case.

If we were all on the same team, you would be rooting for me, not competing against me. My success would be your success. You would be proud to call me part of your family, not try to knock me down in order to lift yourself up.

I recognize the individual strengths of everyone in my family, and I am proud of them. In most areas, I don't even come close to measuring up to them, but I do have a few precious areas in which I might outshine you. Please don't try to take that away from me. I'm not as self-assured as you seem to think.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, be glad. It wasn't nice.

Did you think blogs are all fun and games all the time? Wrong. Sometimes the blogging world is a dark, depressing place. Yes, I am disappointed as well. Bummer.

I'm gonna start working on a team cheer right now.

I spent some time tonight looking through your archives. You are such a talented writer. You have such a great way of entertaining us while telling us about your day or your family. You have shared personal experiences with us that I know were not the easiest to share. You are deap. And you are funny. It is possible to be both. Sometimes people get confused that way. They are unaware of the fact that, though a story is told in a funny manner, doesn't mean it wasn't hard at the time. I love to laugh, and I HATE to cry. Thanks for making me laugh a lot! (But not tonight. You can try again tomorrow.)

I am also very proud of your blog. You have done a great job and I always look forward to it. I have enjoyed everyone's blogs and always get excited when I see there is something new to read. Blogging takes an effort and to the people who make the effort to try and stay in touch and keep it going, they should not be made to feel bad about it. Keep it up because I love it and I too will try to keep mine going as well. Thanks for getting me into it.

I'm SO glad that the world is made up of such different people. If I were the same as all of you, life would be a very boring, sad place. Thanks so much Jenny for your awesome blog. It brightens my day, every day-- Just like every other blog on my little google reader thingy that I love to go see. Blogging has been REALLY nice for me. I sinderely hope it doesn't end now. For anyone.

I hope nobody stops blogging because what else am I going to do when I'm trying to avoid doing dishes/ vacuming /showering/ changing diapers/ making breakfast/lunch/dinner?

Jenny, I LOVE your blog. It's definitely one of my favorites. You have a gift for writing that is unmatched and I would never even TRY to compete with it. I hope you know that I also would never try to knock you down in order to lift myself up. That really isn't my nature. I love you.

I don't know what you're talking about. I thought blogs were ALL about competition and spite. How else am I going to belittle people and make fun of them? I can't do it to their face and the cost of stamp these days?

I remember in high school, some girls were popular because they were funny and some were popular because they put-out.

I'm glad you're funny. It's impossible for you NOT to be funny though. That'd be like if suddenly Bella smelled like Jessica. Or if Rosalie was suddenly nice. Or if Renesmee was suddenly uncreepy.

Not gonna happen. I'm on your team forevah.

Jenny, your blog has always been my favorite. (Sorry everyone else.) I love getting a good laugh. Having said that I love reading everyone else's blogs too. Just because I love those people and want to know what they are up to. Funny or not. I'm feeling the love. Are all of you? And what would the Bailey family be without a little drama. That's what I love about us!

Its a difficult concept for me to process, but apparently people continue to blog, even after I leave work, and sometimes even on deep into the night; and I missed something and am now clueless. No, its not the first time. Sometimes I prefer to be clueless. Of the three kinds of people (those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who wonder what happened), I am the one who is usually wondering what happened. And that's OK.
I do know that my world has been a brighter happier place because of your blog Jenny. Yours will always be my favorite. You brought us "It's Electric", and "We've Got Annie", and words like Flank, and Hiss.
I am so grateful to Amy for inviting me to join the blogging community. I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed getting to know all of you and your families better.
So if anyone has hurt feelings out there, blog and make up; 'cause I am now addicted and need the daily fix of humor I get from all of your posts and comments.
I also know that I am not always the most tactful person. I can be a real Michael Scott sometimes. So here is a sincere apology for past and future offenses. I love you all!!

Your blog always seems to crack me up. I love it. In fact I hope this whole blogging thing isn't just a phase because it would be tragic if I didn't get to spend many mindless hours reading blogs anymore. It has been pretty cool to be able to keep up with the family these days.

What? I am lost?
I love your blog too! Maybe I missed something too, but you do a great job of entertaining. Always enjoy reading your updates when I can break away for a few minutes.

I think everyone is having a blast with the blogging. I wish I could be better at keeping up with it. It's great fun some times I just get caught up in my boring day to day life but always enjoy reading a good blog.

I think you and your blog are great. I also think that not so "nice" thing you were refering to had NOTHING to do with you but if your anything like me you take everything personal. I also know that you have a lot more talent then you would ever be willing to admit to. I hope you can get over your blogger blues and get back to the good ole' Jenny we know and love. Thanks for making me laugh too.

P.S. Sept. 28th sounds great for our next Smart Remarks book club. Does that mean I have to have the book read by then?.........Just kidding, finished it months ago :)

Gordon B. Hinkley said it well:"Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed. The fact is that most putts don't drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just ordinary people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is just like an old time rail journey. . .delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders and jolts interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."

Jenny if you threw a party and invited every one you know, the biggest gift would be the gift you get from me and the card attached would say "thank you for being a friend". Don't worry, they'll have there's, you'll have yours and I'll have mine, 'cause we got different strokes, you know. Together, we're gonna find our way, making a path each day, we're like silver spoons.

To my favorite SIL, who I thank god everyday came into my family. You are one in a million and I could not have asked for a better person to be with my brother. Nor could I have asked for a better friend and sister for myself.

Your blog is one of the highlights of my day and when I start laughing out loud, Brenda (we share a cube at work) rushes over to my computer and says "What did Jenny write now...where does she come up with this stuff???!!!" And we both laugh like crazy.

Love your blog and love you! Don't go changing...:)
