Family Home Video Day: Musical Thespians

Note: It's hard to tell in this video, but the masks used in this performance have a single teardrop on one half and a smile on the other half, representing the two sides of theater (comedy and tragedy).

I chose this impromptu encore performance (rather than the original), because it received more critical praise. Some of you may disagree with my decision, and to you, I'll just say it was a hard decision but it had to be made. Check out this old post from Becky's blog if you just can't get enough of this crap.

Was there supposed to be no sound for dramatic effect?? I'll admit, I did fast forward bits and pieces of the performance (just because Morgan still makes me watch that video)but am so glad I watched the end because I learned that I am not the only one who still wears there costume. It is very comfortable and makes great p.j.s.

There should be sound. I'll try to fix it later.

OK, I just watched it without sound, and was laughing pretty hard. I think it might be better without sound. What do you think? Should I leave it, or fix it?

I'm so bummed i missed the live performance and since I did miss it, I vote for sound...but that's just me.

I was one of the lucky ones who got to witness it live. It made the Waite "number" look even more pathetic than it already was. Very groovy.

I need the sound. I need to know if I am the only off beat, or the only one on beat.

that was great. I love at the end you sitting at your desk like what, yesterday? And you still have your outfit on. Thats great!! I cant even get into mine anymore. I look so skinny in that clip more then now and I had just given birth to Frances. I need to go on a serious Jenny diet.

I think that without the sound you are drifting dangerously toward the tragedy side of the preformance. Just so you know, I keep my costume in a garment bag right next to my wedding dress. Doesn't everyone agree there needs to be more clothes with tassles?
